Paleo diet was not what the heath gurus claim it was, scientists study of the paleolithic era say they ate whatever was available. They didn't watch their calories, nor were they picky eaters. They adapted to what life through at them and we have evolved learning their ways of life and having the knowledge they had about threats in the environment, and food.
We can adapt to life change's and our environment. Larger size and weight have evolutionary benefits and we can adapt to our size through evolution and through common sense and creative thinking. Our bodies adjust to changes in size over time especially if someone comes from a large family. Fat people did not just come into existence recently like many people want to believe, we see large people in numerous pictures from past times.
If our ancestors have given us insanity in some form, depression, anixety, etc. we can adapt. Psychiatry has brainwashed us all into thinking we must be happy all the time and if not, we need pills. However, evolution states that we adapt to what we are given, we are very resilient and can bounce back. Psychiatry has pushed this idea that the goal is always to be happy and perfect like a 1950s sitcom and if we are not, we become depressed about not being able to be happy. We go on medicine to make us happy but all they do is dope us up so we don't have any emotions. The side effects are endless, instead of teaching us why these negative feelings are actually beneficial and we will adapt to them as our environment and ourselves see fit.
Weight control gurus have brainwashed people into believing that fat people have only started to come about with the development of easily accessible food such as McDonalds. However, in dated pictures, fat people are there standing or sitting among the thin people. We can adapt, our bodies can adapt and if something is not beneficial to our species, evolution will weed it out. Our bodies are smart enough to adapt to not being a thin, flat-tummy tea selling IG model. Maybe it is not helpful to be 9000 pounds but our bodies and a person can and will adapt to a little extra weight.
Our bodies and minds have always adapted to our surroundings and our bodies are smart enough to adapt to itself and it's changing, or consistent size.
