People did not look ripped like IG models (the ones promoting self hatred to sell a product) back then because those models use photoshop, surgery and pills to look that way. The arrangement that people in past eras looked that way as well is silly and ill-informed.
Those lean, muscular models have been surgically made over to sell a product that doesn't work. Did people in the paleolithic era have places they could go to to get fat sucked out and fake pecs put in? no, therefore this idea that people in the past mostly resembled fake bodies of today is wrong.
Also, even some lean, very ripped and flawless IG models are fighting back with secrets of how they are able to look how they look. Using angles, lighting, before and after photoshop, etc. People argue that the beach body thin, lean and very muscular models have is achievable, just stop eating so much and work out more is wrong. Those models and fitness gurus don't even look that way without lighting, angles, surgery, and pills. To claim our ancestors looked that way so we are meant to is completely wrong. No one knows 100% what our ancestors looked like, but we can be certain they did not look flawless like society wants you to think.
