You are deserving of the basic human need without fitting into society's standards of what is acceptable. To deny people this right and need simply because they are weird, different or difficult to love is abusive and wrong. It does not fit in with the belief that the universe gives us what we need and deserve.
Instead of thinking “I send love to others but cannot be loved unless I am happy and thin and beautiful,” think “I send love, therefore I deserve to be loved in return.” It is not fair or balanced to continuously give positivity and not be open to welcoming love it unless we fit a certain type of mold.
Love is not conditional, the love you give to others you should be allowed to be given the same in return. people want others to think that they must be perfect in order to be loved however that is not how the universe works. positive energy is not only kept away for positive beautiful, happy, thin people. It is for all of us even people who are pessimistic, suffering, people who are miserable and people who are slender, fat, ugly and beautiful all deserve the same love as people who are positive and happy. Also as I said before, pessimists and masochist feel comfortable in the suffering just because they do not find comfort in happiness does not mean they must subscribe to our version of happiness to receive love and to be acknowledged. We teach people to be excited for a smaller number on the scale, we teach people to show gratitude for the Atkins diet. We never teach people to feel and show excitement and gratitude for ourselves as we are now, for loved one's as they are now. We are taught to show gratitude and love for others and ourselves as we and they "should" and "could be" instead of who they are. We don't want them to listen to the Infinite Spirit inside of themselves we want them to listen to us. We want to be in control of their life and destiny instead of allowing their Divine Thoughts and the universe to take care of them.
As Joe Vitale says in the documentary The Secret, we give love and receive it. However society says we can give all the love to others but we should not, cannot and do not deserve it unless we are slender ,beautiful and happy. We are taught that we must a mold of unachievable perfection to receive and be loved. If we think this we will surely not receive the love we deserve. “We receive the love we think we deserve,” is true but let's be aware that even in our darkest times we still deserve and will always deserve to be loved and respected.
