The main role of companies is to convince you that physics and weight is different for fatness based on the fact it allows you to hate yourself. Understand that our weight doesn't exist the way we are taught to believe.
Weight is, as defined by physics and not some weight loss company, a force of us and gravity on Earth. Weight can be varied in different places due to gravity. The difference between weight and mass is mass has units of kilograms while weight is measured in Newtons, therefore weight is measured in Newtons, not pounds. (Physics For Kids:Mass and Weight.n.d). Kilograms and pounds are not an actual unit of weight, unlike what weight loss hysteria would have you believe ((Jones. 2014). Weight ,as we observe, is a measure of mass and it's relation to how much gravitational pull you need to stay here on Earth. That number on the scale has more in common with gravity keeping us on Earth instead of floating into space, rather than your health , how big your muscles or belly are, or how well you are going to look that day. What weight loss hysteria has labeled as "weight" is actually mass multiplied by Earth's gravitational pull.
Weight doesn't exist
Please keep in mind there is no way to determine what is a healthy body weight, since weight as a physical form does not exist. You can not be at a "healthy" number that technically doesn't exist in physical form. The number on the scale is your pull towards the Earth due to your mass. While the weight control industry wants you to believe weight is a number that determines your health and BMI it simply is not, at least not in the way we were taught to believe. Using scare tactics to control a person's weight" is essentially trying to control their own little gravity bubble. The relation to our gravitational pull on Earth and our mass is why we weight different on different planets.
Wrong teachings due to bigotry
So, if weight is not what we thought it was according to physics, how can we believe people who preach weight control when they are wrong about what weight actually is? How can we believe them to tell us how much we should, or shouldn't weigh when what they preaching about is due to gravity, not how big out belly or booty may be. Yes, the scale reads our "weight" but weight is just our gravity and how tightly the Earth clings to us so we don't fly off into space.
Some formulas to remember.

- 1 Newton is 1/2 of in between 1/4 of one pound. also 100 grams
- Force= mass x acceleration
- Weight=mass x 9.m/s2 (gravity)
